12 Steps hero's journey

1. The ordinary world.

 Westley is a farm boy who work for Buttercup. He live in the hovel near the animals.

2. The call to adventure.

 Westley leaves the farm to seek the fortune across the sea. Buttercup is asked by Prince Humperdinck to marry him.

3. The refusal of the call.

  Buttercup is kidnapped by 3 bad guys and she refusal by jump off the boat.

4. Meeting with the mentors.

 When Westley found Dread Pirate Roberts and he teaching Westley how to use a sword.

5. Crossing the threshold.

Westley leaves his ordinary world. His ship was attacked by Dread Pirate Roberts. Word spread that all the passengers have been killed by the Dread Pirate Roberts.

6. Tests, allies and enemies.

Westley becomes enemies with Inigo, Fezzik, and Vizzini in his journey to save buttercup. Then Fezzik and Inigo become his allies later on. Prince Humperdink is one of Westley's enemies.

7. Approach.

He is tested by Bursting Flames, Snow Sand, and Rodents of unusual size. He try to escape the Prince's army but he can't.

8. The ordeal.

Westley was taken by Prince Humperdinck and try to kill Westley by the Torture machine.

9. The reward.

Westley and his allies obstruct the wedding. He saves Buttercup from killing herself.

10. The road back.

Westely, Buttercup, Inigo, and Fezzik try to escape, but Prince's army still obstruct.

11. The resurrection.

They are able to escape from the castle and head to their normal life.

12. Return with the elixir.

Westley and Buttercup find their true love again.
